Description
BMP280 Sensor Module
The BMP280 sensor is a small device that measures air pressure and temperature. It’s designed for mobile phones and watches because it’s tiny and doesn’t use much power. You can use it to check the weather, navigate indoors or outdoors, and even monitor your health.
This BMP280 temperature pressure sensor is good at sensing weather changes and can be used with both I2C and SPI. It’s made by Bosch and is a low-cost solution for measuring air pressure and temperature accurately. high temperature pressure sensor is a perfect solution for measuring barometric pressure with ±1 hPa absolute accuracy, and temperature with ±1.0°C accuracy. Because pressure changes with the altitude and the pressure measurements are so good, you can also use this as an altimeter with ±1 meter accuracy.
The BMP280 barometric pressure sensor includes a selectable I2C address jumper (connected by solder link GS2), two mounting holes with a diameter of 3.5mm, I2C pull-up resistors, and a 7-pin header with a spacing of 2.54mm. This high accuracy barometric pressure sensor is an upgrade from older sensors like BMP085/BMP180/BMP183, with similar specs but improved performance.
