In this light intensity is controlled by controlling the PWM pulses from the ARDUINO, which are fed to the msofet driver which then controls brightness of high intensity white LEDs. Bluetooth Module is interfaced with the arduino microcontroller Atmega328. The microcontroller has full duplex UART which is used for communication with Bluetooth Module. The light intensity control has been developed to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the application. We can control the intensity of lights wirelessly using android phone.
The Android Software in Mobile Phone sends proper commands to Bluetooth module which is then decoded by Atmega328 microcontroller based on Arduino UNO to perform required operation of electrical loads. The 16*2 LCD Display is used to show the status of the circuit.
