LCD1602 Parallel LCD Display Yellow Backlight

This is a basic alphanumeric display with 16 characters by 2 lines. It features white text on a blue background and uses the widely recognized HD44780 parallel interface chipset. The interface code is readily accessible. To interface with this LCD screen, a minimum of 6 general I/O pins are required. It includes an LED backlight and operates in both 4-bit and 8-bit modes.
