This project is an innovative solution and modern irrigation control sytem for agriculture which can operate motor pumps for a specific duration. It can be operated for specific duration and it should get switched off automatically after exact duration. Real Time Clock maintains date and time. This is achieved by using the Atmega 328 MCU (Arduino UNO) . We can program microcontroller for desired time slots. The 16X2 LCD is connected to the microcontroller to display the status of the pump. The solenoid valves are controlled through current driver IC ULN2003. We can control the water flow easily by controlling electromagnetic solenoid valves at predefined time.
