In this application we are using a switch. In the worst situation when we press switch at that time , location parameters of particular place will be sent to the authorized user’s android mobile. We are using 16×2 LCD to display the status of the circuit. We can thus get emergency help from police in case when someone is in trouble.
GPS gives only the longitude and latitude values but by using Android phone with GPRS services in the mobile we can easily get the location details. We will get GPS location link so that we will be directly able to see exact location in google map.
The controller Atmega328 based on AVR family accepts switch input i.e when some threat has occurred one need to press that switch and the controller makes the GSM module to message to the pre-stored number. In this way the concerned person will know the location and they will be able to save the candidate. With a wide range of serial communication interfaces, they are also very well suited for communication gateways, protocol converters and embedded soft modems as well as many other general-purpose applications.
This project uses regulated 5V supply which can be provided using mobile power bank.
