Over speed limit violation by public transport is a common problem at most of the places in the world. Road accidents cases have been increased a lot due to overspeeding of the vehicles. In this application speed of the vehicles is monitored with the help of GPS and if speed crosses predefined threshold value, alert SMS is sent to authorized mobile number using GSM Modem.
This application works in real-time. The microcontroller Atmega328 processes data and displays status on 16×2 LCD. Regulated Power Supply is given to all the units.
