Elevator is a transport device which is very common to us in present days. We use elevator every day to move goods or people vertically in a high building such as shopping centre, working office, hotel and many more places. It is a very useful device that moves people to the desired floor in the shortest time. The project deals with the design and development of microcontroller based elevator control system with stepper motor, seven segment display.
The elevator system can move up, down. It also indicates floor position on seven segment display. The user can control the elevator with the switches provided. The elevator control system is designed with stepper motor mechanism. The stpper motor is driven through H-bridge motor driver circuit. The elevator system is designed with five floors with equal heights.
