Design & Implementation of Collision Avoidance System for Vehicles (IEEE 2016)

Ultrasonic sensors are great tools to measure distance without actual contact and used at several places like water level measurement, distance measurement etc. This is an efficient way to measure small distances precisely.  In this project we are using Ultrasonic Sensor to determine the distance of an obstacle from the sensor. 

Microcontroller used in project is ATMEGA2560. The distance is shown on 3.2 Inch color TFT LCD Display.  The buzzer sounds when sensor crosses threshold value to give an alert. The project can be used for vehicles as driving assistant.
