Automatic Touchless Flushing System

In this Infrared Reflectance sensor is used to sense presence of a person. It has detection range upto 50 cm. The sensor gives signal to the Arduino microcontroller. Arduino is interfaced with I2C based 16×2 LCD to show the status. When a person comes in front of the sensor, it displays message on LCD and at the time when person moves away from the sensor, it activates water motor pump through MOSFET module for the specific duration. It basically decides flushing system time. We can easily customize flushing system time. Microcontroller used in project is Atmega328 which belongs to AVR microocntroller family. The project can be used for public toilets, restaurants,schools,colleges etc. During pandemic time, it is very useful as it is touchless and automatic flushing system.
